49th SYMPOSIUM OF THE CROATIAN PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGY SOCIETY, Zagreb, November 27-28, 2020 Online

Dear colleagues,

It is my honor and pleasure to invite you to the 49th Symposium of the Croatian Pediatric Neurology Society of the Croatian Medical Association. The continuity of the Symposium and your participation is proof that despite the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, quality, values and achievements can withstand the time and circumstances we face daily, which have changed the perception of reality we have known so far.
49th Symposium of the Croatian Pediatric Neurology Society with Electoral Assembly will be held on 27 and 28 November, 2020 online via live stream.

The main topics of the Symposium are:
Emergencies in Pediatric Neurology, incl.
Acute Encephalopathies and Complications in the Treatment of Neuromuscular Diseases.

Emergences in neurology and complications in the treatment of neuromuscular diseases require the care of a multidisciplinary team of pediatricians and emergency medicine specialists, specialists in other collaborating professions including surgery: orthopedists, surgeons and neurosurgeons, but also other branches of medicine: psychiatrists, infectologists, physiatrists and physiotherapists.

In circumstances where we may not be able to meet and socialize as we are used to, but instead virtually socialize, this Symposium with interesting topics and constructive discussions will allow us to exchange experiences, knowledge and insights into significant changes in the field of neurology.

We invite you to participate actively and look forward to a pleasant gathering together.

Prof. Nina Barišić, MD, PhD, President of the Croatian Pediatric Neurology Society
